“Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull,” premiered yesterday in Cannes to a nearly ten minute standing ovation, and overall the reviews have been positive. USA Today says

Even with the ponderous dialogue, it’s hard not to have fun on this adventure, and it’s good to see that Indy, though slightly weary, still has the goods.

Entertainment Weekly says

Harrison Ford is “terrific — and re-energized” but the film “threatens at times to crumble under the weight of all the impersonal zigging and zagging loaded on for the sake of special effects.

And the NY Post adds

On a satisfaction scale, it lands squarely between ‘The Temple of Doom,’ and ‘The Last Crusade.’

All I know is that I’d definitely let Harrison Ford raid my temple of doom! And, uh… kingdom all over my crystal skulls, if you know what I mean. That actually sounded a lot sexier in my head.
